Keller Williams for the Holidays

Just in time for the holidays (hits shelves December 18th), Keller Williams is releasing his 12th studio album, aptly titled 12, which will feature one song from each of his previous eleven releases. Keller himself considers this his album of “hitless greatest hits.” In addition to the 11 previously released tracks is an one previously unreleased as a studio track (you might have heard it at one of his shows already): Freshies.

You might have read my reviews of his last album Dream or seeing him play live back in March. Keller is an amazingly accomplished musician who can do more alone than many bands can do collectively. As the majority of these tracks are from previous releases, long time listeners won't find much here, but the album would make an excellent sampler or intro to someone not familiar with his body of work (cough cough - holiday present anyone?).

Visit his website, his label SCI Fidelity Records, and become his friend on MySpace.
