Sunday Soul - Born Under a Bad Sign

Wine and women
is all I crave
A big legged woman is gonna carry me
to my grave
Born under a bad sign
I been down since I begin to crawl
If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all

Get them both on The Best of William Bell.

FYi:
"Born Under a Bad Sign" was written by Bell with Booker T.

Thanks anon.

That brings up an interesting conundrum. Is it still a cover if King performed it first even though Bell co-wrote it? Or, is the first recording a cover even though it was written for King and Bell's recording came several years later in 69 on his album Bound to Happen?
