Shawn (NOT Jared) Fogel

Not to be confused with Jared Fogle (the Subway guy), Shawn Fogel is set to release his latest EP, titled One Day In the Desert, tomorrow (September 18th). Although his name might not be familiar, Shawn's released a handful of EPs and one full length album back in 2004. If you haven't heard any of them, his sound reminds me of a mix between Elvis Costello (try Leaves, Corners, Stones below), who he even looks a little like to me, and The Beatles (listen to Millions of Miles Away).

Not only is Shawn set for his latest release, but it was just announced that he'll be playing the Halifax Pop Explosion which will take place October 16-20th. He'll be joining an illustrious list of performers including Apostle of Hustle and Tegan & Sara.
