Fourteen bands for $15 ... how can you go wrong? If you're going to be anywhere in the area of NYC or the Catskills on Saturday, August 14th, this a great line-up for a great cause. All the money raised is going to Friends Of Snuffy, a volunteer organization aimed at improving the lives of pets and stray animals through education programs, grants and direct funding in the central park area. Founded in 2006 by animal lover and music executive Mary Gormley, Friends Of Snuffy has rebuilt the Shandaken dog shelter as well as founding Training Wheels, a community outreach program that helps pet owners train their animals. Friends Of Snuffy also provides direct funding for veterinary care, funded adoption programs and prompt community volunteer participation.
